Charity J Myers

Digital Marketing & Brand Strategy

I’ve built brands, designed websites, written content, and launched campaigns—often all at once. Not because I think one person should do it all, but because I’ve learned when to delegate and when to roll up my sleeves and get it done myself. That hands-on experience makes me a better leader, collaborator, and problem-solver—and it’s why I’ll never expect a designer to build a landing page in an afternoon unless I’ve done it myself.

Timberroot Rustic Retretreats Brand development

Role: Brand Developer, Designer, Web Developer, Photographer, and Sub-Brand Architect
Objective

To establish a unique and cohesive brand identity for Timberroot Rustic Retreats, along with the development of multiple sub-brands under the Timberroot umbrella. The goal was to create a brand that resonates with nature lovers and adventurers, standing out in the short-term rental industry with a warm, inviting, and organic feel that reflects the beauty of the outdoors.

Concept & Approach

Recognizing the need to differentiate Timberroot from the typical cold and corporate templates used by many short-term rental agencies, I aimed to create a brand that immediately evokes a sense of adventure and connection to nature. This vision extended to the development of sub-brands, each with its own unique identity while remaining aligned with the overarching Timberroot brand.

Custom Toiletries: Enchanted Forest

To elevate the guest experience and extend the Timberroot brand into everyday touchpoints, I designed the packaging for our signature toiletries line, Enchanted Forest—provided in all Timberroot rentals.

The design features:

  • Monarcha typography for brand consistency
  • Amber bottles with bamboo-style pumps that blend into rustic settings
  • Clean, nature-inspired copy that emphasizes thoughtful ingredients

I also art directed and photographed the product line, capturing it in natural, on-location settings to reflect its organic roots. These images are used across our website, booking platforms, and marketing materials.

Enchanted Forest has become one of our most recognized guest touchpoints—proof that even the smallest brand detail can make a lasting impression.

Branson has long said he would be among the first passengers aboard Virgin Galactic's rocket-powered plane, but that flight is expected to take place later in 2021.Blue Origin's flight crewed flight will see the company's six-seater capsule and 59-foot rocket tear toward the edge of space on a 11-minute flight that'll reach more than 60 miles above Earth. After six years of extensive and often secretive testing of the rocket and capsule, called New Shepard, Blue Origin announced in May that it was preparing to put the first passengers in a New Shepard capsule.

Oriental Weavers Catalog Design & Photography

Role: Art Director, Photographer
Client: Oriental Weavers (B2B Rug Dealer)
Objective

To break away from the traditional, bland catalog designs in the B2B rug industry and create a visually striking cover that would set Oriental Weavers apart from competitors. The goal was to elevate the brand’s image and capture the attention of buyers with a bold, fashion-forward approach.

Concept

Recognizing that most competitors featured uninspired covers with neutral backgrounds and stacked rugs, I opted for a more dynamic approach. I selected one of our most vibrant and bold rugs as the centerpiece and styled a model in a fashionable outfit that complemented the rug’s design and color scheme. This innovative concept aimed to reposition the rug as a statement piece, blending product marketing with lifestyle imagery.
